In our everyday life, most of us see the results of some artist’s work. In our busy lives, we may give it a quick glance … but then we continue on our way.

As viewers will learn through "Spirit of Art", a documentary by local filmmaker Ed Breeding, such is not the way a true artist lives or feels.

The heart, soul and spirit that lies beneath the surface of a true artist forces them past “doing” their art and instead to a place where they live this passion.

"Spirit of Art" profiles artists of Las Cruces and their work, like paintings, music, films, photography and other art forms. As New Mexico’s second largest city, Las Cruces is home to powerful artists whose diversity of work deserves its own spotlight.
