Day2_004

Memorial Day Weekend is the official start of summer, and the Southern New Mexico Wine Festival has earned its place as a great way to kick things off in Southern New Mexico and West Texas! Wineries from all across New Mexico will be offering up their tasty varieties at the Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds from Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 26.

Festival goers are expected to attend the Southern New Mexico Wine Festival in great numbers this year. Gates open daily from noon to 6 pm, with special discounts for military members on Memorial Day. Wine aficionados can enjoy the latest vintages and varietals from their favorite New Mexico wineries, and relax in the grass, park-like setting of the fairgrounds. A great selection of delicious food options and local artwork awaits visitors.

Every year, people look forward to the great live music at the Southern New Mexico Wine Festival, and this year’s event is chock full of outstanding performers! Starting off the party on Saturday at noon will be Phat Soul, followed by Latin Function at 3 pm. On Sunday, the biggest day of the festival, the Chris Baker Band will take the stage at noon, with the Yarbrough Band taking over at 3 pm. The Southern New Mexico Wine Festival will wrap things up on Sunday with Guitar Slim at noon, and Fast Lane at 3pm.
