Bring your appetite and that holiday shopping list! [minti_spacer height="25"][vc_row bg_color="#dd3333" top_padding="25" bottom_padding="25"]

Amp up your holiday cooking game!

[minti_spacer height="25"]Join NMDA’s Chef Ambassadors John Hartley and Rocky Durham, both New Mexico natives experienced in creating dishes from locally made food products as they demonstrate some of their special recipes using products for sale at the show.

New this year are demonstrations in red chile making by La Reina Chile Products, fry bread and blue corn tortilla making from Jemez Historic Site and Pueblo of Jemez, and fajitas or green chile sliders by Phil’s Gourmet Sauces of Albuquerque. (Demonstrations daily at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.)[minti_spacer height="25"][minti_image img="23954"][minti_spacer height="25"][vc_row bg_color="#dd3333" top_padding="25" bottom_padding="25"]

Bring your appetite and the kids!

[minti_spacer height="25"]Another new addition this year- food trucks that will be serving breakfast and lunch daily and competing in the Red Hot Chile Contest, creating a signature dish using red chile from the food show vendors. Our winner will be announced at 1pm on Sunday. The kids will love the craft activity on Saturday from 10am to 12pm and pony rides from 10:30am to 12pm.

This celebration of the rich tradition of New Mexico made food products and beverages continues to grow and a visit to this year’s event will show you why! This show is co-hosted by The New Mexico Department of Agriculture and New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. NMDA is also promoting its “Elevate New Mexico Agriculture $5 at a Time” campaign. It aims to inspire every New Mexico household to spend $5, or increase their spending by at least $5 per week on New Mexico agriculture products year-round

With the holidays just around the corner, why not come on down and celebrate the tastes and traditions of New Mexico and get started on that shopping list. [minti_spacer height="25"][minti_image img="23953"][minti_spacer height="25"]The show takes place at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum on Saturday, November 23 from 9am to 5pm and Sunday, November 24 from 10am to 4pm.
