11th Annual Railroad Day
[minti_spacer height="25"][minti_image img="19401" align="center"][minti_spacer height="25"]
In terms of “high,” think of the piercing notes of a train whistle during 11th Annual Railroad Day, an event you’ll enjoy only in Las Cruces.
Learn about the role that trains played in local history and meet re-enactors to discover first-hand what it was like to live and work in the early 20th century. Historic Harvey Girl and train staff re-enactors from El Paso will talk about life working on the railroads, and the Dona Ana Modular club will have a large model railroad display set up and running trains throughout the event.
Located in a historic Santa Fe Railroad depot, the Las Cruces Railroad Museum interprets the railroad history of Las Cruces and the impact of the railroad on Southern New Mexico.

In terms of “notes,” think of the velvet-smooth notes in your favorite pinot at the Spring Wine Festival, hosted by La Viña Winery. Sip and swirl your way through the offerings of La Viña, delighting in nature’s local harvest. More than 20 wines will be available for tasting and purchase – all of which you’ll only discover in New Mexico.
