Get Outside 

Surrounded by the Organ Mountain-Desert Peaks National Monument, Las Cruces is a beloved spot for outdoor adventurers. In addition to great hiking, the region features biking, horseback riding, and off-roading trails. Don’t forget to take photos in the beautiful desert landscape featuring beautiful views all-around! 

The Dona Ana Mountains are a great place to hike for any skill level with an abundance of hiking trails. Make sure to plan ahead to find the right trail for your level of experience. The mountains also offer mountain biking and horseback trails varying in length and difficulty. The view from the Dona Ana Arch is breathtaking and the perfect backdrop for a photo to remember the occasion.  

Dripping Springs is another great hiking destination in Las Cruces for any skill level. The area has over four miles of trails and historical sites. Wildlife roams free so be on the lookout for deer, rabbits and the rare sighting of an Oryx.
