Las Cruces International Film Festival
If you’re a lover of all things film and filmmaking do not miss out on this annual film festival celebrating independent filmmaking from around the globe. The festival presents and brings in narrative features, documentaries, short subjects, animation and foreign language films in all genres. It’s rich in educational opportunities with seminars, workshops and more. The festival also presents the chance to see and possibly meet industry professionals such as past guests like Giancarlo Esposito. Patrick Fabian, William Macy, George Lopez, Ron Pearlman, Eric Roberts and others.
¡Mira Las Cruces!
2025 brings the third annual ¡Mira Las Cruces! celebration with it. This must-attend event sums up Las Cruces by highlighting the art, culture, cuisine, music and outdoor recreation that makes the city one of a kind. It’s family-friendly and FREE to attend with incredible food, vendors and entertainment. You don't want to miss out!
Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks
Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Las Cruces' annual firework display, headlined with music acts and tons of family-friendly fun. Be sure to check out the Electric Light Parade the night before to see lots of lit-up floats and cars.
Harvest Wine Festival

Diez Y Seis de Septiembre Fiesta
Head over to historic Mesilla, NM to commemorate Mexico's independence with a bright and joyous celebration on the plaza. Take in folkloric dancing, mariachi music, incredible food, local shops and more.
Dia de Los Muertos
This multi-day celebration of life is held on the plaza of Mesilla, NM. Lining the space with homemade altars, live entertainment, candlelight processions and more traditional festivities the celebration is full of color, history, culture and bittersweet ceremonies.
